WoW Alliance Leveling Guide – Secrets

Alliance leveling guide – Secrets of the Alliance

When you join the World of Warcraft Community the first choice you will make is if you want to play on the Alliance orZygors Guide 2.0 Horde side. If you decide that the Alliance  is worth fighting for you will start your journey in one of the Alliance areas of Azeroth.

What your exact starting location will be depends on a second choice you make. You will choose a Race you want to play.  The alliance is made up of Humans Dwarfs Gnomes Night Elf’s and Draenei each of which has its own “homeland” or starting area.

Some general rules for leveling are

  1. On your leveling path you will travel a lot, make it payoff and kill everything on your way.
  2. When you are leveling you want to deal as much damage as possible, so spend your talent points there where you can do hurt the monsters the most. For example Leveling
    1. Warriors can best do Arms/Fury,
    2. Priests in Shadow Talents,
    3. Roques in Combat/Assassination
    4. Paladins Retribution
  3. When you go offline, do so in an Inn, you can set your hearthstone in the nearest Inn.
  4. Don’t waste time finding groups. Only group with people that are no wasting your time, or your guild members
  5. When you are leveling don’t idle around. When you are not slaying monsters, ask yourself why
  6. When you don’t need to set a new leveling record take a break every now and then. Work on your profession, socialize or do some trading. Leveling alone can become quite a bore

Going through the early stages of the game becomes a breeze with proper guidance, or a drag, and source of a lot of unnecessary frustration when you try to figure it all out by yourself.

A  good Alliance Leveling Guide gives  clear cut instructions and will tell you exactly where to go, who to talk to, where to find quest givers and when and  where to fight monsters.

Races in the Alliance Faction

Humans

The Humans get “the Human Spirit”, an ability which will increase their Spirit by 5%. When it comes to weapons, they have a Mace and Sword Specialization. These two specializations reduce the chance that their attacks (made with these weapons) will be avoided. “Every Man for Himself” is also a very useful ability a human has. This ability is similar to the “escape artist” gnomes have and can get a human out of situations that are tricky. Humans also have “diplomacy” which grants them a 10% bonus on any reputation gain in game.

Dwarves

The Dwarves get the “Stone Skin”, an ability which will allow them to go into a stone form. While in this form their armor will be increased by 10% and any bleeding or poison affects will be removed. Perfect for a tank maybe? Dwarfs also have a Gun specialization and another ability called “treasure finding”.

The Gnomes have 5% intellect increase and their engineering skill is increased by 10. Sounds like a good mage or a warlock race? Escape Artist is another racial they have which will allow them to escape from any movement paralyzing situation.

Night Elves

The Night Elves have “Shadowmeld” which makes them invisible for the enemies. They also have increased chance to dodge attacks. Rogues love this! A “Whisp Form” is something favored by any player. If a Night Elf gets killed his spirit has increased movement so he will be able to travel much faster to his corpse than any other race.

Dranei

The Draenei have “Gift of The Naaru” which doesn’t cost any mana and is a healing over time (HoT) spell. This ability is especially nice for leveling or if you are not a healing class. “Precision” is another useful ability they have. This ability increases their hit chance and also the hit chance of their party members by 1%. Next to all these they have their Jewelcrafting skill increased by 10.
