Ultimate WoW Guide

Ultimate WoW Guide

Blacksmithing is one of the 11 primary professions that can be chosen from in the World of Warcraft. Blacksmithing is normally chosen by players that have a character that can wear Plate Armor or deal melee damage.  With a good WoW Blacksmithing Guide you will have a perfect start. The obvious reason for this is that a Blacksmith is specialized in making Plate Armor and Weapons which can be used by the character or sold on the Auction House. A Blacksmith however, can craft a lot of other goods that are handy while leveling and profitable.

Level Up First

First however, you will need to level up your Blacksmithing. In order to craft things you will need a Blacksmith Hammer which can be bought at one of the many General Goods vendors that you can find in the World of Warcraft. It is just a 1 Silver purchase though. On top of that it is good to know that you can only melt your ores and craft items with your Blacksmithing profession at anvils which also can be found in almost every city.

Mining and Blacksmithing

Because a lot of ores and gems will have to be used the Mining profession goes very well with the Blacksmithing profession. Buying the much needed ores on the Auction House is very expensive. When you have the Mining profession however, you will be able to gather all the ores and valuable gems yourself. With the help of a good black and mining guide you will save a lot of time and gold. By showing you the best areas and places to gather the ores and by showing you which items to make and where to get the recipes needed in order to learn how to craft some particular items, a WoW Blacksmith Guide will help you to level up your Blacksmithing profession with a minimum amount of effort and with hardly any costs or no costs at all. On the contrary, using the information presented to you will be able to learn how to earn gold, while leveling your profession and how to have a wealthy character once you max out your profession.

Balance between Skill Points and Cost

When you level any kind of profession it is important to gain skill points without spending a lot of materials. As a rule of thumb, you should try to make the items that show as yellow orange. Choosing these items mean getting 75 percent or higher chance to gain a skill points when crafting a particular item.

If you choose to make several items that show as green to you there is the chance that you will gain 1 skill level for every 5 items or something similar. Making grey items is out of the question when you are leveling your profession because these will not level you up at all.

Only if you can make gold on a particular item and you have spare materials you could do this. It is advised however to use these materials for leveling your profession because the big amounts of gold can be made once you hit your maximum level.
