WoW Warlock Guide – Elements of Shadow and Fire Combined

The Warlock class is one of the 10 classes players can choose from in the World of Warcraft. The Warlock belongs to a spell casting class. His main role in groups is to deal a lot of damage.

The Warlocks can have a Demonic Pet at their side which has several abilities. As you level up you will be able to choose between:

The Warlock class also has several AoE (Area of Effect) spells but is mostly known for dealing direct damage with his Shadow Bolts and for being able to casts a lot of different DoTs (Damage over time spells) and fear spells which cause its opponents to run away while not being able to act.

All together the Warlock is a great class to play with these spells and can top damage meters with his damage spells and be great in PvP with his DoT and Fear spells. There’s more to a Warlock however which make him even more wanted in dungeon, raid and PvP groups.

One of these abilities is the spell that creates health stones which can be used by the Warlock himself and by his comrades. These health stones restore a big amount of health not equaled by any healing potions and they do not share the same cool down as the healing potion which means that you can use both in a battle.

Another nice ability of the Warlock is the Soul Stone ability. With this the Warlock can Soul Stone himself or a comrade, preferable someone that can resurrect. Once the person with the Soul Stone dies he can instantly resurrect upon death. If in example a party goes into a dungeon and the healer is soul stoned and everybody dies, the healer can get up and resurrect the party once the fight is lost to resurrect the entire group which can be really convenient.

Then you have the Summoning Portals a Warlock can create. The Warlock can summon these and the portals can be used to summon other players from any point of the map towards the Warlock. However, two other players must assist with the summoning ritual. This is especially great wheni a party or raid goes deep into a dungeon or raid instance and a player leaves. With a Warlock you can summon a replacement in seconds.
