The WoW Warrior Guide to Optimize your Character

Warriors are a popular class in World of Warcraft

Ultimate Leveling GuidesWarriors are a popular class in the World of Warcraft. This doesn’t necessarily mean that a lot of people choose to play a Warrior themselves, but they sure like to have one in either their PvP or PvE group. The Warrior has an amazing ability to deal and take damage

Warrior – Devestating in PvP Unbeatable in PvE

The Warrior can be devastating in PvP and a great tank in PvE. With their Plate Armor, the big variety of Weapons they can use they usually take very much damage or hit points.a  Their Armor makes them hard to kill  hard to kill in both PvE and PvP.

Protection Warriors – Born to Tank

The Warrior gets several great talents in the Protection tree which make a lot tougher to kill. He also gets a few boosts to his damage and several new spells that are really good.

By many a Warrior is considered to be a great, if not the best tank.  The Protection talent tree will provide the Warrior with talents to improve his abilities to

  • block attacks with the shield,
  • gain more stamina, give him
  • Shockwave which is an AoE stun,
  • Vigilance which he can cast on another player to redirect threat and a lot more good stuff.

Even though Protection Warriors are usually really wanted in guilds, dungeons and raids,  a DPS Warrior is also a nice choice.

The Fury and Arms Talen

The Fury and Arms talent trees are designed to boost the Warriors DPS significantly. A DPS Warrior might not be able to top the damage meters but he can surely be in the top 5 of 25 man raids.

While using a variety of melee attacks to crush his opponents he can also:

  • fear,
  • disrupt spells,
  • cast shouts to enhance the damage and the hit points from party & raid members and
  • with its plate armor he is still quite tough.

Since recently players are allowed to have two different talent builds once that option is bought for 1000 Gold you can even enjoy the best of both worlds, if you can afford it.  But then you can use both a Protection and DPS build and switch freely between them in different situations.

If you want to go grinding or want to play some PvP, a DPS build will be of more use. Then if you want to be a tank for either raids or dungeons, or if you’re guild requires you to be a tank, you can change both your gear and talent build and play your role of a tank.

The dual talent trees are great especially for the Warrior class.  We didn’t discuss PvP yet but a DPS Warrior is one of the best PvP Classes you can have on your team.

Because he has plate armor a lot of damage from classes that deal physical damage like:

  • Feral Druids,
  • Rogues,
  • Enhancement Shamans,
  • Hunters,
  • Retribution Paladins etc.

As a PvP Warrior gears himself up he will also receive a lot of Stamina and Resilience which make him quite hard to kill. Against casters and healers he is also quite a killing machine. Because he can rush into his enemies even if they try to get away from him in order to cast spells etc., can Hamstring them so they  lose 50% of their movement speed,

He can basically be on top of his target all the time dealing massive amounts of damage. One of the preferred attacks in PvP must definitely be Mortal Strike.

With it a lot of damage is dealt and it also reduces the healing done on the target by 50%. This basically rocks against a team that has a healer. A typical WoW Warrior Guide will explain you exactly how to master a Warrior.

A WoW Warrior Guide normally also discusses the talent trees, attack rotations and other important aspects of the Warrior like buffs and gear that should be used. If you want to become a respected Warrior in your guild and on your realm you should know your class by hearth and this is where a digging through some class specific sections of a WoW  Guide can help you.
